CAMP HILL PRIMARY SCHOOL SEWING CLUB
This popular club, started by Miss Hicks, has been successfully running for nearly 4 years now and is going from strength to strength.
During the sessions, the children create their own designs and learn the techniques needed to produce individual pieces of work, whilst improving their fine motor skills.
This club is also a great way to socialise and interact and the children learn many life skills, in a friendly and welcoming environment. The children enjoy the club and have produced some great pieces of work.
We currently have in excess of 20 children who come regularly on a Wednesday after school and Miss Hicks provides them with a drink and biscuits for snack. There is a small termly fee, which enables Miss Hicks to purchase stock and the children get to take their sewing home once school has finished displaying it.
