29th June 2021
Dear Parents/Carers
Well following an exhausting and trying year for everyone, I would like to make you aware of some of the changes that will be happening to our school next academic year.
At the end of the Summer Term, we will be saying goodbye to Mrs Burley, Mrs Leese, Miss Cartwright and Ms Maxwell, who will be leaving us for pastures new. I’m sure you will join me in wishing them all the best in their new and exciting role.
Miss Palmer and Mrs Smith have left us temporarily to undertake teacher training and we are looking forward to seeing them back again in 6 months time to continue their training in school.
In September we will be welcoming a new class teacher, Mr Walsh, who will be one of our year 4 teachers as well as a phase leader.
Miss S Howard will also be returning to the classroom as a year 4 teacher.
In the meantime, I hope you share my enthusiasm for another exciting year ahead, with new staff and children and lots of new adventures.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported us throughout this difficult year and lets hope next year will prove to be a lot more settled.
Yours sincerely

Dear Parents
TWINLAKES 2021
Due to the government moving the road map by another month, we have just been informed that school trips can go ahead providing we can stay in bubbles and not use outside help such as volunteers or parents.
We physically do not have the staff to look after small groups of 6 children per adult without outside help when at the theme park. We also would need one coach per classroom and not mix bubbles on the buses so therefore some buses would be half empty and as the school were funding the coaches, this would have big financial implications to us.
We are so sorry that we are going to have to postpone this trip until next year when hopefully we will be in a better place with Covid.
We are refunding everyone over the next few days, please be patient with us as there's a lot of refunds to get through and this takes time.
Thank you for your co-operation,
