A Book about Coronavirus for Children
As the lock down progresses we realise that this can be a confusing time for your children, and that it may even cause worry or anxiety. The book below, illustrated by Axel Sheffler (illustrator for Julia Donaldson), is all about the current pandemic we are facing. It has factual information, using language that children will understand and is presented with a familiar picture-book aesthetic. A child armed with the right information, presented in a safe environment, with the ability to ask questions and talk about their feelings, will be more able to cope during this difficult time. Many thanks for your continued respect for the UK's 'stay home' initiative.
Home Learning 🤗
We are all missing you and our time together in Year 1 but we do hope you're all staying home and staying safe.
Whilst you're at home and spending time with your family there are lots of things you can be practising like tying your shoe laces or writing your first name and surname with capital letters at the start. See what you can master by the time we're back at school.
Please see below for your Child's weekly home learning tasks. Additional resources to support these tasks can be found on our
Year 1 Home Learning Page (link below).
Try your best and have fun!
If you need any additional help please don't hesitate to send us an email.

Please see the link above to some updated information regarding our Health and Relationship Education program.
Please also see below for some resources to tackle these subjects with your child at home. It is really important that the children still learn this vital information, even though we cannot be at school.
