Pastoral Team
Our role is to support the children of Camphill Primary School and their families to ensure that they achieve their best. We work closely with all staff within our school, parents and outside agencies to achieve this.
The Pastoral team At Camphill Primary School Consists of:
Mrs Temple - Pastoral Manager and Designated Safeguard lead .
Mrs Wood - Attendance Lead and Designated Safeguarding Lead
Miss Cartwright - Family Support Worker and Designated Safeguarding Lead .
How can the Pastoral Team help me?
Our Pastoral Team can offer support in a range of situations, such as:
- advice and support with your child’s behaviour at home or at school.
- advice and support about your child’s punctuality and attendance. -
other concerns you may have relating to your child that you would like support with.
- supporting you or someone you know who is suffering domestic abuse.
- concerns about any child’s welfare.
- support you to talk to your child’s teacher or to the school about any concerns or queries you may have.
- help you to access information about difficulties you may be experiencing such as money worries, relationships, health etc
- offering group work and one to one sessions with children in school.
- assistance with form filling.
The Pastoral Team can help your child to:
- Express their views.
- Raise self-esteem and confidence
-Encourage them to achieve.
-Support them in developing friendships.
-Manage pressures and difficult times in their lives
- Learn about their social and emotional skills and how to improve these.
-Encourage and promote good school attendance.
-Manage feelings following bereavement and loss.

The Dimensions Tool
The Dimensions Tool is a web-based app that will help you to find well being support in the Coventry and Warwickshire area, that is specific to your needs, or someone else's needs. The tool will tell you about relevant advice, support and local interventions that may be helpful, after you have answered a series of questions. The Dimensions Tool is free to use and has been developed in conjunction with parents and carers, referrers and our clinical staff.

The Multi Agencey Safeguarding
The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is a partnership between Warwickshire County Council, Warwickshire Police, National Health Service (NHS) and other key partner agencies working together to safeguard children, young people and adults. When a professional, family member or member of the public is concerned about a child or young person's welfare or safety, they can contact MASH so that they can look into it.
Foodbank Vouchers
Foodbank vouchers may be issued in school for those unfortunate enough to find themselves in sudden crisis. Contact the School Office for further details.

If you aren't sure what support you and/or your family needs, the Family Information Service is a great starting point. Their knowledge and friendly team will listen to you and help you access the services that can support you.

Warwickshire Family Support Worker Helpline: Warwickshire County Council provide a family support helpline which you can call Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. The helpline is run by Family Support Workers from Warwickshire who are available to listen, support and offer advice and guidance to families. 01926 412412
Sleep
The Sleep Council
Sleep deprivation can have a serious impact on emotional, physical and mental health and many people who are seeking our support are approaching crisis point, whether that’s adults or families.
We aim to provide access to high quality information and advice to deal with most sleep issues, and ensure everyone understands the value of a good night’s sleep. We also campaign for improvements to the support available as well as providing accredited training for professionals so they can offer sleep support to the people they work with.
Young Carers
Warwickshire Young Carers A young carer is someone aged 25 and under who cares for a friend or family member who, due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction, cannot cope without their support. Older young carers are also known as young adult carers and they may have different support needs to younger carers.
