Robot Wars

Over the last two years, Camp Hill Primary have entered a team into an inter-school Robot Wars event, with the help of Mr Walsh and Mr Connolly. Using CAD modelling to design a robot and our 3D printer to produce the design, we have then added the electronics to create a remote control robot to battle against other Primary and Secondary schools. On the day, the event is a knock-out tournament, pitting the robots against one another in a custom-built arena, interspersed with some agility and control-based activities.

It has been an absolute inspiration and an amazing learning opportunity for our pupils to take part in such a high-tech event.
